Northern Nights music festival will have cannabis retailers at every stop

Organizers of the Northern Nights Music Festival announced this week that the 2022 edition of the event will be the first music festival to have dispensaries located on stages and the first to feature multiple on-site cannabis retailers.

The event is scheduled to take place July 15-17, 2022 at Cook’s Valley Campground in Piercy, California.

Featured dispensaries will be scattered throughout the event and will feature “buyouts” of the industry’s top brands, according to a press release. Northern Nights was the first-ever music festival to offer on-site cannabis retail services and will maintain its main dispensary, The Tree Lounge, as both a retail and lounge option for spectators. The Tree Lounge will take on a more rustic farmer’s market vibe than in other years, organizers said.

The event also offers expanded wellness programs for attendees, which include yoga, meditation and breathwork classes, sound bowls, community sharing, education circles, and more. The wellness program is offered in partnership with Movement Makers Retreats and will also include ‘cannabis-themed activities’.

“You have to be able to take the time to explore yourself, to reconnect with body+mind and the natural environment. If you come to the Nuits du Nord [2022], you can expect plenty of conscious movement offerings as well as a supportive community to guide you on your journey. — Nate Mezmer, co-founder of Movement Makers Retreats, in a statement

Tickets and additional information are available on the event website at NorthernNights.org.

Musical acts will include Claude VonStroke, TroyBoi, CloZee, Elderbrook, SNBRN, and more.
