Anyone who has followed the famous English rock band, The Beatles, knew about the band’s time in India. In their quest for transcendental meditation, the group visited an ashram in Rishikesh in the late 1960s. According to reports, their association with Maharshi Mahesh Yogi, the leader of the Transcendental Meditation Movement, brought them to India. It is said that the visit to India not only helped them spiritually but also benefited them creatively, and they ended up writing 48 new songs while they were here.

Now actress Samantha seems to have visited the place and she seems to be very excited about it. On her social media page, the actress shares a note and a few photos from there. Besides her photos there, she also shares some old photographs of The Beatles, hung on the walls of the ashram, commemorating their visit. She writes: “To stand where the Beatles once did At Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ashram where they practiced ‘Transcendent Meditation’ and wrote some of their famous songs .. 48 of them 😳 ..
