Watain releases a new music video for “We Remain”

EXPECT have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the song We stayis taken from the Swedish black metal band’s forthcoming album, Watain’s agony and ecstasy, slated for release in April this year. The new song features noble contributions from Farida Lemouchi [ex-THE DEVIL’S BLOOS, MOLASSES] and gottfrid Ahman [ex-IN SOLITUDE, PÅGÅ].

Speaking of the new song, the singer Erik Danielsson said, “I started writing We stay in 2012, as a meditation on the concept of Mythopée; our mythical origins and how our understanding and approach to them are shaped and transformed over time. The lyrics are built around the five elemental wings of the Pentagram and the mysteries embedded in this ancient symbol. It’s a song about things forgotten to be remembered, the search for truths that have been lost, the ever-burning flame that illuminates the darkness of time immemorial, the passage of aeons and our ponderable place in it.
